I have to go back a bit. It was in the summer of 2000 at the EXPO in Hanover. The Italian pavilion was somewhat disappointing. But before that was a combination of a bike and an ice cream truck with large silver lids. The ice cream was extremely expensive (I think 2, - Mark per ball) but the best ice cream that I have ever eaten. Until yesterday. I ordered a box with 4 varieties from eGeLoSIa - everything was perfect. The taste, the consistency, the fine extras. This is how ice cream has to taste! Chapeau!

Ice cream cups stopped selling Unfortunately, very disappointing, the sale of individual ice cream cups has stopped. These are still advertised on the board, and accordingly also waited in line. When it was my turn and I was able to order, they said that this year only ice boxes are sold on pre-order. Until the last year it was sold here.

The pit stop is easily accessible by car and there is ample parking. That's exactly the concept: go, buy ice cream and drive again. The terrain offers no atmosphere that invites you to linger longer. The ice cream is delicious and has a very fair price. There is nothing to complain about! :)

The EGeLoSIa ice cream parlors in the city close (unfortunately) over the winter season. But now the ice cream stock can at least be refilled from a smaller range. There are 16 types in 750ml thermos to choose from. The varieties are pre-packaged and cannot be mixed. At the same time, for impatient people like me there is also a small ice cream van on site, from which 6 (other) sorts - including sorbet - can be selected to make a regular ice cream bowl. The pit stop should be open all year round.
